Will Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, has just inked a deal to began production on a new television series for the Sci-Fi channel.  The show, Unfinished Business, is about a cop who gets “flashes” of memories from the recently deceased in order to help him solve their murders.

The network, which changes its name to Syfy on July 7, plans to air Unfinished Business as a two-hour movie that will also serve as a potential series pilot. Smith will also act as a executive producer for Unfinished Business.

The question is: Will Will appear on the show?  Of course he won’t be the star or have any kind of regular role (his movie flick career is way too strong for him to start doing TV on a regular basis).  But will he pop up on an episode or two, guaranteeing high ratings for the show?  Time will tell.
