Eminem and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will be flying 200 laid-off auto workers out to LA from metro Detroit to join Eminem as he guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday May 15.
Eminiem will appear on the show on May 19 and 22 and the 200 auto workers will also be treated to a free secret concert in Detroit.
This is good. Obviously Eminem is promoting his new CD Relapse (set to release on May 15 in the U.S.) but he is doing a good deed along with it. Detroit has been hit hard with the downturn in the economy and forced layoffs in the auto industry so I’m sure this will help boost the morale. It may not bring the jobs back, but maybe a few smiles. Good job Eminem and Jimmy Kimmel.
